This article apparently refers to the former "Pancake House" restaurant located not on Glendale Avenue (never heard of Glendale "Road"), but on Greenway Parkway. The food there was great.
Unfortunately, this restaurant folded sometime in the summer of 2005, and its replacement restaurant is completely different.

I hate to say "Awesome" for everything, but it really does apply here. Whether I am there with my children or alone with my husband, I have always enjoyed myself.
I have good taste, I like to think so at least, and every dish I have tried I have ended up saying is my favorite as I am eating it. Last week it was the Cherry Kijalfa crepes, this week-the ham and cheese omlete (it has this taste to it...mmmm). The coffee was pleniful and good, with real cream in little saucers brought out. The bacon slices were real bacon slices. Thick and perfectly done. The childrens portions are great, and the little stuff you get to occupy their time was cute.
The restaurant is very clean and bright, but not too invasive for those hangover mornings. The friendly staff is nothing but nice and the food was great-and fast. Not McDonalds fast, but nonetheless-quicker than I had expected....
Enjoy yourself here, and enjoy the surroundings.
