We have been going to JP's for quite a while. The two waitresses that were there (for years) are gone and now we learned the cook who was also there for years is gone. The owner, his fiance and her sister are running the place and there really is no good reason to go back. It seems that he has compromised on the food, as it is not nearly as good as it was, and there literally is no service. If you want a great breakfast, go to Flapjack's in Fountain Hills. It is owned by the original owner of JP's and the food is fabulous. It's too bad, as we live two minutes from JP's but it is definitely worth the drive to Flapjacks.

Their oven-baked pancakes are amazing! Try the 'German Pancake' (my wife's favorite) or just a plain oven-backed pancake with lemon and sugar (my favorite). The restaurant has a nice family-owned atmosphere. We had a really relaxing breakfast there. We're going back next weekend!

I just stopped by to check this place out. I only had a cup of coffee. The coffee was $2.10 I think that is a bit pricey but you have to consider the area that its located in. There were pleny of customers and its really a neat classy little place. I had breakfast on the other side of town before I stopped by here. I will stop back there again for breakfast sometime.

I am a nut for breakfast restaurants. This is one of the few I love to go to. Service is good - food is good - atmosphere is good.
