Joe's is cheap, but that's about all it has going for it. The home fries are frozen potato pieces that are deep fried. They're basically french fries. Everything else is typical breakfast fare that is no different than what you can cook at home. The atmosphere at Joe's is 1970's truck stop. There is an odd yellowish pallor over everything. The service is OK, but nothing special.
If you want a good breakfast in this part of town go to Mimi's Cafe or Happy Rooster.

I love Joe's the food is awesome... my recommendation is Joe's burrito with home fries... yummy!!! The people there are so friendly and it is just like a whole in the wall diner you would go to in a small town but located off the busy streets of Kolb and Golf Links, by the way did I mention the food is awesome me and my hubby go probably once week!!!!

Just came from having a delightful (and cheap) breakfast at Joe's. The place has been cleaned up since my last visit and I like it! Had the 2.95 French toast special and was very satisfied. Coffee was very good to my taste and had several refills. The waitress was courteous, fast and friendly. Will visit again soon!

We really like Joe's. Greasy spoon atmosphere and good food. Might be a little loud and cozy for some people. Joe's has a good variety of menu options, including menudo on the weekends if you like it (not listed on the menu but just ask). Cheap deals during weekdays. Not bad!

Everything you need in a Greasy Spoon -- Cheap, Quick, & fast, friendly service. Food's O.K., but nothing to write home about.

Food good, staff good, place needs to be cleaned up a little, but then it is rated as a greasy spoon.

For a cheap and fast breakfast, you can't beat Joe's. They are your typical Greasy Spoon, with a small dining area, and not much to look at from the inside or out. However, they have some of the best pancakes I have ever had. The service is outstanding, the coffee is always fresh, and the staff is always smiling and make you feel welcome.
