Cherry Smoothie

- 2 cups pitted frozen tart cherries

1 large ripe banana

1 cup cherry or orange juice (choose cherry for the full experience)
Place all the ingredients in a blender and puree until smooth. It's as simple as that.
Here's a tip: If it's the holidays and you have a bag of frozen cranberries, you can use those in place of the cherries. You can also try adding additional berries. I like to throw in some strawberries or raspberries sometimes so the smoothie keeps its beautiful red color.
If life is a bowl of cherries... I'm in heaven! This is a colorful smoothie with double cherry flavor.
