
Maple Rum Glazed Bananas

(2 servings)

- 2 medium-sized bananas - sliced into thick coins
-
1 cup maple syrup
-
3 oz dark rum
In a saucepan at low heat, bring the maple syrup and dark rum to a simmer.
Add sliced bananas and remove from heat.
Allow bananas to steep in maple rum syrup for 10 minutes.
Serve and enjoy.

This is a great topping for pancakes and French toast, and an excellent filling for crepes.
