Coconut Praline Toast
(3 servings)
- 1/2 cup flaked coconut

1/4 cup brown sugar

2 Tablespoons butter

2 Tablespoons half and half cream

1/4 teaspoon vanilla

6 slices bread (your favorite for toasting)
In a small sauce pan, melt butter. Remove from heat and add sugar, cream, vanilla and coconut. Mix well.
Preheat oven to 425 degrees.
Toast bread on one side. Spread coconut mixture on untoasted side. Broil until topping is lightly browned - about 3 minutes.
Pretty fancy as far as toast goes. No egg required. Good stuff!
