Cinnamon Swirl Coffee Cake

- 3 cups all-purpose flour

2 cups + 3 Tablespoons sugar

1 cup milk

1 cup butter or margarine

4 large eggs

3 Tablespoons cinnamon

2 teaspoons vanilla extract

3 teaspoons baking powder

1/4 teaspoon salt

1/4 teaspoon baking soda
Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
In a small bowl or cup, mix 3 Tablespoons of sugar with the 3 Tablespoons of cinnamon. Set aside.
In a large bowl, cream the butter (or margarine) with the 2 cups of sugar. Add the eggs, milk and vanilla stir until well combined.
In a separate large bowl, mix together the flour, baking, powder, baking soda and salt.
Add the dry ingredients to the the wet ingredients and stir until well combined.
Pour half of the batter into an angel food pan. Top with 1/2 of the cinnamon sugar mixture. Using a regular table knife, swirl the cinnamon/sugar into the batter. Top with remaining batter. Swirl in the remaining cinnamon/sugar.
Bake for 60 minutes.
Serve warm with a touch of butter.
Looks as good as it smells. Tastes as good as it looks! Use an angel food pan for best results.
