The Blue White Grill is a diner, not a greasy spoon, though that was the closest categorical choice available.

We were in for breakfast early on a Sunday morning, about 0700. The place is clean and neat, decorated with pop culture icons (Marilyn Monroe, Elvis Presley, Betty Boop for example) posters and photos, efficient and attractive lighting. Seating available at counter and in small booths.

The breakfast menu is traditional, offering omelets, pancakes, french toast, hot and cold cereal, steak, pork chops and chicken. Service was friendly and efficient. (We had short visits from just at least three of the four staff to say hello and inquire as to our satisfaction.)

I had the sausage omelet with hash brown potatoes and my friend had scrambled eggs and bacon. Everything was prepared well and tasted good. Portions were quite ample.

We enjoyed our experience there and rate it higher than the average diner we have encountered. We will certainly be back for lunch; their menu of hamburgers, fries, etc., looks appealing.

The diner is located no more than five minutes off Interstate 81 (exit 13 King St into town and a left onto N. Queen St for one block). Two hour metered street parking is available.
