A family style restaurant near downtown, one of those places by virtue of not much else nearby is good for a 1/2 hour wait on Sunday morning. Full disclosure here this part of a local chain that puts out a pretty good breakfast... I know I have had breakfast at a number of them. Mrs. D tried the diced ham scramble (instead of her usual ham steak) and liked it but still left some for Rocco the bad dog (who wasn't waiting patiently in the car. Couldn't resist ordered the CBH... so like the others it was ok. However at the start our 30 minute count down outside I opted for a free coffee (or so I thought), and a cup of plain water for Mrs. D, needless our bill came with two coffees on it, I asked the about it and the waitress removed the water. Some of my favorite breakfast place offer free coffee while waiting for a table... apparently not here. Kinda left a bad taste in my mouth, if you know what I mean.
