Eggs Up has been a regular morning haunt for me and my family since we moved here almost 10 years ago. The atmosphere is what you want from a greasy spoon breakfast joint: it's raw, fun, and unassuming. Waitresses are now wearing shirts that say "Is my crack showing?", which really sums up the environment.

There's probably no more than 15 tables in this place. On weekends, assume there will be a wait, though it's never an unreasonable amount of time.

The food is always generous, comforting, and cooked exactly as I asked for it. They always have 6-10 specials for breakfast. I highly recommend trying some of the seasonal specials when they strike your fancy.

My personal favorite are their omelets, or the hash brown skillet-type dishes. Also, if you're into it, this is a great place for an S.O.S. If you're like me, you try an SOS with hesitation - this place makes a good one. I also love their locally made muffins, and generally ask for them to be grilled.

Finally, these guys know what they're doing with eggs and a grill! They are aptly named.
