Vancosta's is probably the best breakfast restaurant in Newport News, VA. All the food is so delicous, and very reasonable priced. Service is also excellent from the entire staff.They have been in business for more than 40 years at the same location,Their version of Belgian Waffle would put the other place to shame. It is also cheaper. I personally love the hamburger steak, eggs, and great grilled potatoes, with or without onions (none better). You can also get French Fries in the A.M. I also love their Club Sandwich which you can get at any time of the day. It is not on the menu. Just asked for it. They also have superb spaghetti and garlic bread (small extra charge for 3 slices). You can get that dish in the A.M. too. I usually take half of it home.
If truly want a wonderful breakfast that won't break the bank, try Vancosta's. We have been going there for breakfast past 5 years. I can truly say we have never had a bad meal.
