It was hard to categorize this place, as it previously was a greasy spoon and still serves all of those favorites, however, a major renovation was done a couple of years ago, and it is more upscale-looking. So it is somewhere between greasy spoon and classy joint! But it still caters to the same crowd, and dress is casual. We have ordered everything from omelettes to waffles to quesadillas, and have been extremely happy with both the food and the service. My only wish is that they had booths rather than tables, as I like the feeling of privacy and intimacy booths offer. If I can get one of the tables in a front nook, I will take it, just to be in this separate area. Parking can also be a challenge on a busy Saturday or Sunday morning in this tiny parking lot, but there is on-street parking on a residential street across the street from the parking lot (a 2-minute walk). Staff are always pleasant. Highly recommend!
