A friendly restaurant in a historical North Carolina town. Combines two storefronts - one mainly for kitchen and cashier, one as a dining room. There are also tables on the sidewalk.
The dining room is small and attractive with light wood tables. A large and varied breakfast menu is available daily.but the feature is a bargain buffet served on Saturdays and Sundays. Country ham, city ham, sausage, bacon, grits, fried apples, sausage gravy, pancakes, wonderful home-fried homefries (skins on plus onions) and the lightest of scrambled eggs. Fruit, pumpkin bread and carrot cake. One of our favorite places.
This review refers to Kelsey's previous location on West King St.
