Hitting Golden Corral's breakfast buffet was always something I dared myself to do. Finally, I got the eggs to do it. Overall, the food was better than I thought it would be. The french toast was weak, but there was a good assortment of pancakes - blueberry, chocolate chip, buttermilk - and all your meats were covered. The no-sugar-added blueberry crisp was delicious, and made a great topping for the pancakes, or by itself. The eggs were cooked, you could get omelettes were made to order, and the apple turnovers were perfect. There were many things I didn't even get to, like grits and the huge assortment of desserts, so selection is great. A waitress came by to be sure our glasses were full, and extra plates were available. I am not crazy about buffets, as the food usually sucks, but this was not bad at all, and next time I want to indulge, I will probably head back to Golden Corral.
