This place is not your typical family restaurant - it is a brew pub but I rated it as a family restaurant because it is very family friendly. It has it all - it could also be classified as a 'Classy Joint' but I didn't want to deter those who weren't feeling stuffy - this place should not be reserved JUST for special occasions, though it is very special. The views of the river are amazing.

The food is delicious - the portions are ample but not overwhelming. The menu is very interesting and offers old favorites and new sure-to-be favorites. My family and I went there for Easter brunch this past Easter and were very pleasantly surprised. I knew they had a great lunch menu, but never realized they served such a lovely breakfast/brunch. My husband had the hash of the day which was a spicy sausage - delicious. My sister had lobster benedict - out of this world. I had pancakes with brown sugar butter and an apple compote - WOW. Don't forget the Fizzy Mimosa (the dash of Grand Marnier makes it fizz.) It was an Easter meal to remember and I am sure we will return often.

The service was incredible. Our waitress was very friendly and responsive. Our hats off to the crew at Federal Jacks.
