Curly’s Diner at 12 Carrying Place Road is ready for customers. Owner Paul Jenkins, former owner of JB Printing next door, runs the business with help from cook Linda Smith and waitress Patricia St. George. The diner is open from 6 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. It also does take-out.

"We hope to catch the working people for breakfast and lunch," Paul says. "Everything is homemade."

Paul renovated the former storage facility over the winter with help from his friends. It is bright and clean, cheerful with pleasant paintings and some stained glass made by his wife.

"I sold the printing business four years ago," Paul adds. "It was my dream to set up a restaurant. I like to try something new." He has been in business in Trenton for 18 years.
