The best gourmet bakery in the area spent a year constructing a two-story cafe addition. The new room is welcoming and attractive. I would describe its architecture as quasi-industrial. (I'm sure the architects have a better description.)

The coffee is wonderful. At present their breakfast menu augments those tasty pastries and scones with a continental breakfast,fresh fruit platter with yogurt and house-made granola, yogurt with fruit, breakfast cheese plate,breakfast bread basket, Eggs Benedict and smoked salmon with scrambled eggs, onions.

We'll be back. They are closed on Mondays.

Driving diriections: On the left as you drive towards University Dr. between Asia Market and Foster's Market.
