This restaurant's traditional egg,meat, and toast offering really isn't that good. It really is disappointing when you can't enjoy a simple breakfast staple. However, they have something on the menu called "Western Hash Browns", and while not revolutionary, it still is worth the purchase. It is merely hash browns loaded with cheese, ham, and green peppers. It is very delicious, and you can choose a half-order of the shtuff. That is all I ever have ordered, because it is cheaper, and the portion size appears to be a full order to me. I haven't seen the full order,and I have no idea how much is on that plate.This restaurant is located in a very small town just a short jaunt(10 minutes) West of Davenport on Front St.(Hwy 22). It is worth a trip because it sits right on the Mississippi River, and has some nice Iowa river scenery. The local patrons are polite enough too, so as not to rubber neck at someone new passing through. The waitstaff, and employees overall have always been extremely nice, and courteous.
