The Old Port Inn has been in Clawson for many years. The host, hostess, bussers, and wait staff are wonderfully friendly. The breakfast selection is typical American fare. The service is very quick and the (standard-tasting) coffee is often refilled.

I suggest the special with several meats, eggs, hashbrowns (or pancakes) and toast if you are rather hungry. It is very reasonably priced. The steak and eggs are also tasty. For a lighter meal, the french toast is terrific.

The dinner selections are varied, but I haven't been as happy with them. I suggest breakfast anytime at the Old Port Inn.
