What a pleasant surprise. We rode over from Springfield, and arrived mid-morning. We ordered the Papa Bear breakfast (2 pancakes, 2 eggs, 2 sausage pattys) with juice and coffee. The pancakes were huge, perfectly done, and served with plenty of maple syrup; they were awesome! Ditto for the eggs and sausage, could not have done a better job myself. There was so much food we could not finish it! Staff kept the coffee coming, and paused long enough to chat about the decor in the historic building. They have only been open since March '05. Oh, the price? $11.50 for 2 persons! Incredible!! You will kick yourself if you miss this gem!
