By far the best pastries (made on site every morning) and coffee (Peet's Coffee) in the city. This euro-style bakery/cafe has quite a spread of morning treats from blueberry crumb muffins and a variety of croissants to cinnamon morning buns that rival Tartine's. Arrive early...There's always a line. If you should get there later, there's an amazing selection of afternoon desserts that fill the vacated spaces in which there once was pastries.
