Cheney is not overendowed with real restaurants (as opposed to fast food) and Willow Springs is the only one of those that reliably serves breakfast. Perhaps it is the lack of competition that has led to their breakfast menu which can best be described as "pro forma".

The food is not bad, by any means - but it rarely rises much above "reasonably acceptable". In particular, the hash browns (often a good way to see how seriously the cook takes the process of cooking) are bland - cooked through, but without the attention or care needed to make them more than filler.

There is a decent selection, the food is served (usually) quickly (and hot), and the service (including coffee refills) is usually very good.

If you are in Cheney and want breakfast - this is not a bad place to eat - but it is not worth going out of your way for.
