In this non-descript place, you will be pleasantly surprised to find THE BEST Mexican (red) Menudo!

Available on weekends only, their Menudo is primarily offered for breakfast and you have the option of either eating it there in their small dining area or ordering take-out. However, the best value for your dollar is to eat-in because your Menudo breakfast is an “All-You-Can-Eat” Menudo Breakfast! A bowl of this excellent-tasting menudo is accompanied with condiments like dried Mexican oregano spice, chopped white onions, a wedge of lime, dried red pepper flakes, and a bolillo—pronounced “bo-lee-oh,” which is Spanish for a small, Mexican-version of a French bread roll. When you’re ready for another serving of menudo, just let the people behind the counter know. They’re happy to oblige!

HELPFUL TIP:
If you plan to eat Menudo for breakfast, be sure to get there very early, preferably right after they open, because it is not uncommon for Pepe’s Tamales to run out of their Menudo by 12 noon!
