D'angelo's bread and pastrys are some of Santa Barbara's absolute best. Whether you are stopping in to grab a flakey, and buttery almond croissant accompanied by a smooth, hot latte on your way to the local farmer's market. Or even taking a seat outside this european style cafe to enjoy a crusty slice of whole wheat levain topped with a perfect poached egg, and a glass of steaping earl gray searved in a french press. You will without a doubt fall in love with this local decadence. But keep in mind that if it's a snazzy, eye-catching, over garnished breakfast that your in the mood for....go somewhere else. D'angelo's has excellent food made so fresh, with wonderful ingredients, and not all that extra fuss. It's pure and very european, so don't be surprissed if the prices are high, and the service isn't always great. The food always makes up for it.
