I took my co-worker her one night after closing up the store. We were one of 5 customers in the place but we still received terrible service. I ordered a belgian waffle, no whip with fresh strawberries and a side of pork roll. When I was asked what I wanted to drink I said diet coke. The waitress then laughed at me and said, "Diet? *glanced down at me* yeah..right." and then she laughed and she walked away. Now this waitress had to be in her 60's, I'm not talking about a kid taking my order!

Now if I were 400lbs, I could almost understand the comment. I am only 20lbs overweight. PLUS - I am carefully watching my sugar intake b/c my family has a history of diabetes. I was insulted and embarrassed infront of my co-worker.

My side of pork roll never came. Refills were never offered. My belgian waffle was so dry I could probably use it as sandpaper. The waitress never came back to our table. We ate, tried to flag someone down - but the girl who looked to be in charge was on her phone in the parking lot smoking a cig. She's come in, and stand by the register a bit - I'd wave her down, she'd look at me, grab another cig and go back outside.

Almost 40 minutes later - the waitress walked out from the back - dropped the check onto our table and walked away without even stopping and without a single word to us.

I've worked retail all my life and have been managing stores for 13 years. I know how frustrating people can be - but this was just wrong. Avoid this diner!
