This venerable old hotel in Spring Lake overlooks the ocean and serves a surprisingly good breakfast. Prices are a little higher than what you might pay for the same thing say in a diner. We had the "Eggs Breaker" which is an Eggs Benedict with grilled filet mignon served with delicious home fries. Coffee is very good and refills are abundant. Breakfast is served on the Veranda, an enclosed area outside of the main dining room. From here you can see the nearby ocean and the hotel pool. Service is good, food is hot and surroundings are pleasant. We also tried the "Breakers Coffee Cake". It came heated and on this occasion was a blueberry bundt cake served with whipped cream and a strawberry.
