A family run joint since the 50s when it was conceived, this local haunt is a favorite any day of the morning. Their homemade biscuits (fresh when you order them) and gravy are superb. The food is cook precisely to order. Bacon is always pleasantly crisp (no floppy bacon here). Portions are huge. Prices are cheap. The waitresses are casual and friendly. Overall, I'd go here every day of the week if I could.

(And it was recently seen on an episode of the hit show Prison Break)
