I ended up pleased with my experience at the Monona/Madison Beltline franchise of this chain. To date, this was the only visit to this chain where I wasn't met with crowded parking lots and waits to get a table. As with Original Pancake House, there was a great variety of pancakes, crepes, and other breakfast items from which to choose. I like the fact I could get a half-order of pancakes. Blueberry pancakes were reasonably good, but the biscuits and gravy (half-orders also available)were average. Coffee refills came frequently, and service was prompt, friendly, and competent.
