The Drafting Room serves Sunday Brunch. My second visit was not as good as the first, and my dining partner agreed - we both ordered the same thing as the previous visit.
I had the Strawberry Cream Cheese Stuffed French Toast, which was served more as a French Toast sandwiched with cream cheese as opposed to stuffed. It was good and not overly filling and it was served with a heaping side of home fries with carmelized onions. I was disappointed in the home fries - they looked like they would have so much flavor, but were dry and somewhat bland.
My dining partner went with the buffet and sampled some of the same items she enjoyed on her previous visit, but commented that they were not as good as the last time. I tried a piece of the Chocolate Chip Challah French Toast that I had sampled previously, and it was not as moist and rich as before.
Our waitress and the hostess that greeted us did not seem to be having their best of days either, both seemed somewhat aloof. They did have a couple of very large tables that day, so I may return with hopes that this day was a fluke.
