My husband and I ate breakfast at Munroe's this morning. We stayed at the Four Seasons Motor Inn, which is within walking distance of Munroe's so we decided to give it a try. It is a quaint little place with friendly staff and delicious food. Hubby had the Hungryman Special ($8.49), which was two pancakes, two eggs, two sausages, home fries, and toast. The sausage was very sweet and tasty! I ordered the Mexi-Eggs which was a grilled burrito stuffed with scrambled eggs, cheese, and picante sauce served with additional picante on the side and sour cream and and order of home fries. The home fries were very well seasoned and soft but not mushy. I also ordered a blueberry muffin. It was very good, but it looked like a muffin from Sam's Club or Costco. That is probably my only complaint about the entire meal - that the muffin did not seem to be made on the premises. Otherwise, this was a great little place for breakfast!!!
