Ever since new ownership/management took over, this diner has become "THE PLACE TO EAT". From breakfast to lunch to dinner, and now even after hours (24hrs. on weekends) Blue Bay Diner has it all. The new renovations have added to the great ambiance that this place has lacked, yet thirsted for, oh so long. The staff is friendly and experienced. The food is out of this world, wheather it be your classic diner breakfast of eggs, omelettes, french toast, waffles, or pancakes to your typical lunch of BLT's, turkey sandwiches or a cheeseburger and shake. Dinner is by far something which must be experienced at Blue Bay. A multitude of varieties, from pastas & sautees to some of the best seafood I've had in Queens. Their steaks are out of this world, as are their lamb chops, pork chops, etc. Coupled with the new ambiance i.e. glancing at the TV's to catch a little bit of the game over at the counter, or the new lighting, has added to a very comfotable dining experience. Now when it comes to desserts I would think about going to Blue Bay before I stop at my local bakery. Their pastries and sweets are to die for. They do all their baking on the premises, and they don't skimp on the ingredients. Just try the Tiramisu! Since I can also buy a whole cake at Blue Bay why would I go to a bakery? If you haven't tried Blue Bay you don't know what you're missing. If you haven't been there in the past year or so I would go just to see the changes, I guarantee you will get hooked. I did!
