"Down Home Cooking" at it's best. Real fried chicken, real mashed potatoes, real fresh cooked veggies like your Grandma used to serve on Sunday. Don't expect too much in the way of ambiance - you're here to eat. And you'll be enjoying well prepared, tasty food from a menu that will take you back to when you gathered your own eggs for breakfast and sent brother out to catch a chicken when you saw company comin' up the road! Dotson's is a "must visit" while in the Nashville area. And you never know when you'll see your favorite country music star there. They know where their biscuits are baked and buttered best! Sooo good it'll make you want to "slap your Grandma"! I live on a farm in Central MO and consider Dotson's one of the best places to eat "away from home".
