Located within blocks of the historic Mission San Juan Bautista and scores of quaint shops, the Mission Cafe is a hidden gem. It was recently extensively updated inside with a 50's diner motif, and it's spotlessly clean and quite cozy.

The food is terrific, cooked just the way you want it. They offer a full breakfast menu (served all day), as well as sandwiches and other items. Try their malts and milk shakes as well.

As of this writing, the Mission Cafe is open every day until 3, so don't wait too late to enjoy their delicious food. San Juan Bautista is a great town (dating back to the 1700s) and the Mission Cafe really hits the spot.
