I had a breakfast burrito and a side of cheese grits. The burrito was interesting because it was served in lavash bread instead of a tortilla. It was an acceptable breakfast burrito if nothing spectacular. It was heavy on the potatoes and light on the cheese. The cheese grits were also surprisingly light on cheese. In fact, the girl I was with had a Mexican chicken salad and told me that is was... guess what... short on the cheese. Come on Jumpin' Java, give up that cheese.

Breakfast is served all day at Jumpin' Java and the menu offers several breakfast options. The service was friendly, albeit a little slow.

I've heard other people give better accounts of this restaurant, especially regarding lunch. The pancakes and French toast at other tables looked very appetizing. I'll probably check this restaurant out again. I have a hope that we just caught the cook on a bad day... or on a day where he was particularly short on cheese.
