I couldn't decide between "greasy spoon" and "family" as it is a wonderful combination of the two. The restaurant is in an old house and it makes you feel almost like you're at grandma's. It's easy to miss if you don't know where it is. The food portions are very generous, quality consistantly mouthwatering, and prices very reasonable. They tried to open another one down on Academy a while back but the atmosphere just didn't measure up to the original and it closed. Do yourself a favor and try it! It's addictive. The only drawbacks are parking and wait times to get in if you don't get up early enough. :-)
