This is the quintessential local greasy spoon. It has all of the local 60 and 70 year-olds grouped around one table every morning, it has bad wood paneling and a sad excuse for decorating, and it's not much to look at from the outside...

Having said that, I love this place. The owner is there every day, cooking breakfast, usually wearing a Red Sox shirt. There are newspaper clippings about the local high school sports teams on the walls. The bread is homemade and wonderful, the Mexican omelet is spicy, and the homefries are plentiful. If he doesn't know you and a regular comes in right after you, the regular may get their food first, but I actually kind of like that about the place. It's a small town place, and it doesn't have any intention of changing.
