Best-ever breakfast.
First of all, there's a model train that chugs around the ceiling, so if you have kids with you they'll be quite entertained. (There's also a play area and some goats and deer outside.)
Most breakfasts come -- inexplicably -- with "a glass of milk and a donut". Not sure why they thought to offer a donut appetizer, but there it is. Donuts are fresh and the milk is, too. Delicious.
Best omelette ever: Fresh spinach and mushroom. I have eaten omelettes all over the country, and this one wins, hands down. They grill the portobello mushrooms right before they serve, and oh-- try it. Baked oatmeal is another favorite, with a new flavor plus plain every month. Very, very good.
We've never had a bad breakfast at Oregon Dairy. On top of great, straightforward food, the service is lovely -- mostly staff who have been there for many years -- the Mennonite vibe is soothing, and the landscape is beautiful. After you eat you can shop next door in their market, too.
Award Nomination: Best Breakfast Ever
