Yet another restaurant owned by the Hershey Company and therefore a bit institutional -- even though it's trying very, very hard to be hip -- Cocoa Beanery is a nice place to meet, and in warm weather, it's a great place to sit out and enjoy the sun.

Breakfast sandwiches are made fresh with precooked eggs like at Starbucks; somehow come out a bit dry, tough, and only somewhat tasty. Quiches are creatively done but last time I ordered one it was a very small slice, tough around the edges and cold in the center. Perhaps reliance on the microwave is not serving them well. Baked goods are lovely and tasty.

Coffee is only okay. The last two times I ordered lattes I had to request an additional shot of espresso to make it stop tasting like a bucket of warm milk. Even with the extra espresso their drinks taste both weak and bitter.

Service is at the counter, and they're usually quite friendly. Staff is also happy to remake or add to drinks to make them right.

Drink prices are fine but food is overpriced. There's a really nice reservable meeting room, but it costs $100 to use, which is sadly beyond my budget.
