We finally got to try this place. We started with a apricot, lemon poppy seed scone which we shared. A variety of freshly baked muffins are available. My wife tried the Croissant French Toast, but was disapppointed. Nobody seems to make French Toast the correct way anymore. There was very little egg in evidence. But it tasted OK and was worth a try since we had read testimonials about it. I had the Grilled Croissant Panini which I liked a lot. It was egg, cheese and bacon between sliced croissant and then grilled. Delish!! Although the menu is small. there are pancakes, waffles, omelettes, egg dishes and sandwiches along with daily specials. The coffee, of course, takes center stage. They are known for their coffee, which is freshly ground and brewed on the premises. You can buy various blends from around the world at their web site. The place is small, only 6 or 8 small tables. Many eat outside where they can smoke, bring their dogs with them and converse. Along this stretch of Main Ave are several other restaurants where you can dine al fresco. They open early each day to accomodate people geting their early morning coffees. On Friday and Saturday nights there is live entertainment, Coffee and home baked pastries are served. Well worth a visit. Check out their web sit for more insight.
