Well, from the outside it looks like a neighborhood biker's bar. Well, actually it is on one side, and usually busy even in the morning. But the other half (plus) is for whole families. They have been struggling to upgrade their image lately. New energetic waitresses, re-decorated country ambiance, and good service. Old fashioned, family-style food. There are daily specials, but can't say that I tried them. I stick with the undeniably good pork tenderloin breakfast: a chicken fried lean slab of pork, flattened so it covers half the plate, breaded then fried, then smothered in brown gravy. Crunchy, tender and moist in the middle. Breakfast includes potato, eggs and toast/biscuits. I don't order the coffee, it is ordinary. I prefer the strong, dark, gourmet stuff. But their country potatoes (with skins) are good, and the eggs are nicely done. Been going there for some 30 years and happily keep crawling back for that tenderloin!
