I love this little neighborhood restaurant. It is small, but the flavors and service are big. It is homestyle breakfast at it's best. Great coffee, great food, and the servers are very friendly.

I have actually never had the waffles, which they are named for, but my fiance has and he likes them. I've had the pancakes, delicious, and my usual is some type of omelette, which are all delicious. They make perfect hashbrowns, and their country potatoes are to die for.

I took my mother there this past Mother's Day. My mom, who loves linguisa and potatoes and lives in Hayward, has fallen in love with this restaurant. She now finds reasons to come out my way so we can go to "breakfast" at Waffle Stop, even if it's lunch time.
