I always make it a point to stop at The Stop for food when I am in the area. It is located in a truck stop, but attracts more locals and families than truckers. Breakfast is very good, with the usual assortment of dishes - eggs, sausage or bacon, pancakes, etc. The restaurant is clean, service is good, and the decor is inviting. Other meals are as good as breakfast and feature local recipes. There are daily all-you-care-to-eat specials with Chicken and Waffles on Fridays.
