Friendly, classic diner with terrific French toast, waffles and crispy bacon. Large portions at reasonable prices.

In April of 2008, then-candidate Barrack Obama stopped by the Glider Diner and tried their waffle. When a reporter interrupted the future president with a foreign policy question, Obama replied, "Why can't I just eat my waffle?" He was really into that waffle.
