My wife and I have been coming here for about 8 years now, and it is always a great experience.

The food is average diner, bacon, eggs, sausage, hash browns, etc. but has always been hot, and fresh, lots of it, and at a nice price.

The service has ALWAYS been excellent, and very friendly. Most weekends, you will see a lot of Cops, firemen, and EMS people in there, having breakfast.

The Jim's Breakfast is great, and huge, I can never eat it all, but it is great.

The food, surprisingly, is not as greasy as you would expect, which is a nice change, and it is always fresh.

We always go for breakfast, usually around 7am or so,(between 8 and 10 there is always a waiting list, but not long.)

My favorite has got to be the Eggs Benedict. Classic dish, with a little paprika sprinkled on top.

The place has a great feel to it, kind of like your REAL neighborhood diner.

Don't expect a caviar omlet with smoked salmon, just nothing but good, fresh, home cooked food, in an environment that will keep you coming back.

NOTE: There are several Jims in Salt Lake. Only go to the one in this review, for the best experience!
