Such a classy dining event, breakfast, lunch or dinner with patio or indoor dining, hidden inside a very non-traditional, tiny mall called 'The Camp' (not too far from South Coast Plaza)! Maybe 12 tables inside, tastefully decorated, with beautiful food and friendly, incredible service. The dinner menu is equally fine, but for breakfast there are interesting choices of omelets, granola, so on. The pumpkin brioche french toast was more like a rich, moist bread pudding, nutty and generously dolloped with whipped cream and a fabulous rum (?) sauce. The espanola omelet with artichoke hearts, herbs, prosciutto, and Parmesan made my eyes roll into the back of my head. The restaurant fills up quickly on the weekends and the parking can be challenging, so call in sick and go on a weekday, or retire, like me. It can get a bit loud inside, but that says to me that I am not the only one happily relishing my food. There are heaters outside if you want to say nanny-nanny to the weather. Mmmmm. A wonderful place!
