Another Black Bear with inconsistant food and service. Just large portions, but I have had a meager omlette with too many country potatoes and cold toast. It is unfortunate that this location like several has great service with personalities in the servers that you want them to succeed. But, alas I have showed up at a slow time and had no service with poor attention to the food. I have stopped here many times for dinner and am really impressed with the great food. However the last breakfast was better than the previous when I brought in a visitor from out of state. The eggs were great, sausage was large and plentiful, flavorful and cooked just right. This time I had hash browns that were browned evenly and enjoyed the bountiful serving. The biscuits are large and the whipped butter would have only been better with a better honey. The country gravy was thick, smooth and hot,and flavored just right. Coffee was hot but weak. Service improved but that maybe because the managers they have seen me several times. Overall you can expect a big breakfast worth your money.
