Smallish place, tables (for @ 30?) and counter service for another 10 or so....

On our annual week long family vacations to the Maine coast, we make a point of driving the 1/2 hour-45 minutes from the cabin to have breakfast here 3 or 4 times.

Friendly, attentive staff. Family atmosphere. Great eats! Plate sizes pancakes (gotta have the blueberry!), tasty omelets, filling platters. But my favorites are the 'Slam' sandwiches- the Southgate with bacon, sausage, and ham or my personal fave the Steak Slam.

A breakfast that'll make you opt out on lunch!
