The Sugar Bowl is a real neighborhood breakfast joint. You never know who you will see eating there; friends, neighbors, Des Plaines public officials. The food is awesome! Everything that I have ever had is wonderful. My best recommendation would be their Pumpkin pancakes. I have NEVER had Pumpkin pancakes as good aywhere else and that includes other well known pancake restaurants in the area. They taste just like pumpkin pie......YUM! The service is second to none. The hostess and the servers treat you like family. I can't say enough about this restaurant. Well worth the trip!
