This retro recipe is from a 1955 advertisement for the American Can Company. According to the ad, "Corn and deviled ham... make these pancakes 'something special.' The golden goodness of the corn is protected for you by a special enamel can lining, invented by Canco. If it comes in a Canco can - it comes to you at its best!"
From this same classic ad, also see a recipe for Cranberry-Nut Coffee Cake.
Transform ordinary pancake mix into something totally unique using a can of corn and some deviled ham. Vintage recipe from a 1955 ad for the American Can Company.
