Ginger Spice Muffin Mix

- 1 one-pint wide mouth jar with a tight-fitting lid
- 1 and 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 and 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 cup sugar
Add the sugar and pack down that layer.
Seal the jar.
To Prepare:

Ginger Spice Muffins
(Makes 1 dozen muffins)
1 jar Ginger Spice Muffin Mix
1/4 cup butter or margarine - melted
1 large egg
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 cup milk
Preheat the oven to 400 degrees degrees. Prepare 12 muffin cuos with muffin papers or cooking spray.
In a large bowl, stir all ingredients until well blended. The batter should be somewhat lumpy.
Fill muffin cups 2/3 full and bake for 15 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center of a muffin comes out dry (no batter).
Enoy!

Not a whole lot of flavor here. Needs a lot of help, more spice would be a good place to start.
